The town set was built specifically for the series in North Beaver Bank, Nova Scotia
Synopsis
Unravel the mystery of a town in the middle of the United States that imprisons all who enter. As the residents struggle to maintain a sense of normalcy and find a way out, they must survive the threats of the surrounding forest. The site, known as Beaver Bank Villa, has a long history and many years ago contained housing units, a community hall, a fire station, a school, a church, a convenience store, and more.
They drop him a rope
(All demolished in 2004) All that remains are the paved streets and roads that supported workers at a nearby military radar station that operated in the 1950s and 1960s, and the fake town is built on them. As Boyd enters a distant tree, he finds himself at the foot of a well. When Boyd comes out of the well, Martin is the only one in the room, chained to the wall.
are definitely great
Martin doesn’t pull the rope. Que Sera, Sera (Whatever Will Be, Will Be) was written by Jay Livingston and Ray Evans and performed by the Pixies. I’ve enjoyed this show so far and the acting and mystery, etc.
“Relevant in some way?” Long-term way?
However, I’m a little worried that this is too close to the vibe of “Lost.” But “Lost” was also a wonderful show in terms of acting, direction, etc. What bothered me in the end was how much of a mystery there was just to be a mystery. Watching the second season, I got a little annoyed every time they introduced another strange mystery that could be a symbol, an object, a thing, an event.
And that’s it, forgotten after a season, no explanation, must be weird
Is this just one of those “mysterious mist creature” or something like a trap door or a light that is never mentioned or explained again, and when the mystery finally ends it bothers me because the writer can just wave his hand and completely remove anything, never go back to it. Okay, next up is a llama in a red hat muttering the words “paleontological” and “spatula”! I’ll still watch it, but if this ever ends it’ll be "It was all in his head!" There’s no attempt to tie a thematic argument to any of that, so consider this review at least 2-3 points lower…
