Synopsis
A grief therapist begins telling his clients exactly what he thinks
Ignoring his training and ethics, he finds himself making huge changes in people’s lives, including his own. Share the best moments that defined their characters from Season 1 and reveal who has the best Harrison Ford impression and who wanted a “Harrison Ford type.” and I was going to audition people similar to Ford. Segel told Goldstein that they should at least pitch it to Ford first, thinking he would turn it down immediately, but at least other people would find out that Harrison Ford had brought the project, sparking interest from other notable actors.
The acting was terrific
Ultimately, Goldstein talked to Ford and sold him the role. Goldstein still doesn’t understand what he did to convince him, but he was thrilled nonetheless. It was a solid production and a very unique script.
Is it perfect?
I love how each character embraces their imperfections, shows vulnerability, and uses humor to grow spiritually. Shrinking has a ton of heartfelt moments, awkward moments, slightly funny cute moments, and laugh-out-loud moments. I hope they continue to make more seasons of it because the character development warrants it.
But neither do any of us
Drink. I think the overuse of profanity takes away from the overall power potential here. It’s almost like the writers are forcefully making the show bold.
It’s definitely worth watching
Personally, I don’t think it’s necessary. That’s why I gave it an 8.
