He’s smart
He’s loving. This is Dexter Morgan, America’s favorite serial killer who spends his days solving crimes and his nights committing them. During season 8, Angel Batista wasn’t always played by David Zayas.
His son David Zayas Jr
replaces his father in some photos, as the two look remarkably alike. Visible throughout the first season, Dexter has a large scar on his left side. Later in season two, the scar moved to the right side, leaving the left side intact.

The complex and damaged characters, the twisted story, and Dexter’s adoptive father who nurtures him, educates him, to make him the perfect avenger, it’s all so intoxicating! This show is not only well acted, with every major character holding my attention, but it’s written with such a deep intensity that I find it absolutely irresistible! I can’t wait to see more of how traumatized Dex was as a child, more of Harry’s lessons, more of his growing relationship with Rita, more of the ice cream truck killer, more of the forensics…
