Synopsis
The villains struggle to find confidence and acceptance in their new lives as good guys, when they are brought out of retirement and forced to do “one last job” by an all-female squad of criminals. Marc Maron and Natasha Lyonne’s second animated film together, following DC’s League of Super-Pets (2022). Coincidentally, the latter film was released the same year as Þrjótarnir (2022), and both films also featured guinea pigs as their main antagonists.
